There is simply no better place to live than in Pretoria.
The city has so much to offer, and its versatility knows no bounds. Think purple streets in October, the crowd on Loftus Versveld when the Bulls score a try, and the happy sounds of vuvuzelas from hooting taxis draped in Mamelodi Sundowns flags.
Apart from its rich heritage and culture, Pretoria also boasts a wealth of top restaurants, malls and markets, as well as renowned historical attractions.
The 2015 Best of Pretoria Rekord Readers’ Choice winners were singled out by thousands of Pretoria residents to be among the people, places and establishments that make the Jacaranda City, in our opinion, a serious contender on the World’s Best Cities list. With almost 100 000 votes received in this year’s survey, there can be no doubt that the winners are some of the best Pretoria has to offer.
